From the specific data point of view, in November 2021, the domestic passenger vehicle production and sales were 2.231 million and 2.192 million, respectively, up 12.2% and 9.2% month-on-month, and down 4.3% and 4.7% year-on-year, although there was still a year-on-year decline. , But the decline has narrowed, narrowed by 0.4 percentage points and 0.3 percentage points respectively from October. From January to November this year, the production and sales of passenger vehicles were 18.879 million and 19.06 million respectively, an increase of 6.9% and 7.1% year-on-year, but the growth rate dropped by 1.7% compared to the average from January to October.

 

From the perspective of different models, except for the decline in production and sales of multi-purpose passenger vehicles (MPV), the other three types of passenger vehicles have shown an increasing trend. However, compared with last year, the four major passenger vehicle varieties continued to show a downward trend, with MPV models experiencing the most significant decline.

 

In terms of new energy vehicles, the demand for new energy vehicles in the November market remained strong, with production and sales hitting a record high, reaching 457,000 and 45 million, respectively, up 15.1% and 17.3% month-on-month, and 1.3 times and 1.2 times year-on-year. Among them, the growth of plug-in hybrid models is the most obvious, which is one of the major reasons why many auto companies have launched related models one after another. From January to November, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 3.023 million and 2.990 million, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 1.7 times, and the cumulative sales penetration rate increased to 12.7%.
